In my entry of November 12, 2008 I mentioned a gg-grandfather on my father's side that was in the Norwegian-Swedish War of 1814. There is another Norwegian gg-grandfather that fought in that war. His name is Gudbrand Larson Bergsunlia. He is from my mother's side. His son Lars Gudbrandson Haselhaugen and his family came to the United States in 1877 and settled in Barron County, Wisconsin. What I have underlined in the picture is the information about him being in the army/war written in Norwegian.

Comments:
This is how Google translates it: Gudbrand Larson, born in Flaskerudeie was Husmand in Bersundlia, probably Southern, from ca. 1823 until his death. At his death he was entitled "retired veteran from 1812." Gudbrand was a participant in the war from 1808 to 1814. He died inderst in Northern Bergsundlia. He was married in 1816 maid of Busterud, Olia Bendix Daughter, born ca. In 1794. Olia Bendix Daughter died livørsenke in Amund House.
