This is a picture of the tombstone of one of my 5th great grandparents on my mother's side. It is located in Fallowfield Township, Washington County, Pennsylvania. Their names are William and Mary Burgess. The dates of their deaths are inlegible. According to my records Mary was born in 1772 and died in 1849 and William was born 1766 and died sometime after the 1850 census. William lived his whole life in Washington County. Mary, though, was born in Maryland and moved to Fayette County (next to Washington County) with her mother and siblings when she was a teenager. Their daughter Elizabeth (my 4th great grandmother) married Evan Young in Washington County, eventually moved to Wayne County, Indiana and finally lived out their lives in Hamilton County, Indiana.  ¶ 10:04 AM
