This is the tombstone of Sarah Carson Springer. She was the younger sister of my ggg-grandmother Elizabeth Carson Young.  They were both born in Washington County, Pennsylvania and they are both buried in Hamilton County, Indiana.  The tombstone is located in the East Union Cemetery in Adams township in Hamilton county.  Sarah would be my 4th great grand aunt.

Comments:
OK, if you have Springers and Carson's from this far back in your family from Washington Co. PA then you and I are cousins.

My father was the first in my line to leave WA CO PA and I was the first not born there, in my line. The irony, I now live in Fort Wayne IN and I am finding tons of cousins here, from 5th G Aunts and uncles that moved here and southern OH.

One problem is we have lots of people with the same identical names. Especially with Surnames Springer, Young, Scott, Springer, my line is full of Scott's.

So, the Elizabeth Carson Young I am looking for is the daughter of my 4th G Grandparents Thomas (Jr) Esq & Mary Gibson Carson buried in Horseshoe Baptist Church Cemetery, Charleroi, PA. She married John Young and is listed in Washington Co, PA census through 1860 and disappears in 1870 census. Her date of death is listed as 1868.

Her brother would be Thomas Gibson Carson who is my 3GGrandfather.

Others from this family close in Indiana. Joseph & Mary Scott Carson, Bull Run B Cem., Marion Co. and Margaret Carson Cloud, Corey Cem, Grant County., I have visited both grave sites this summer. If your Elizebeth is the same, Joseph & Margaret are her biological Aunt and Uncle. Both have decendents all over Central IN. From Terre Haute to Rushville, and Elkart to Marion Co.

Is this your family.

My line; Thomas, Thomas Jr., Thomas G, Alexander, Jesse, Jesse Jr. (Fred), Jay F., Jay Jr.
