Erick Gunhus and his family were members of the Holden Lutheran Church from its inception in 1856 to 1874 when they became members of the Gol Lutheran Church. The Gol Church was one of several "daughter churches" of the Holden Lutheran Church. It made sense for Erick and his family to go to the Gol Church since it was much closer to their home. In both churches though Erick was one of the signers of the church constiution. The picture is of Bernt Julius Muus the pastor of the Holden Church at this time.  ¶ 10:33 AM
