My g-grandfather Sjur Markuson and his wife Ingeborg were early members of the Norwegian Hauge Lutheran Church located outside of Kenyon, in Goodhue County, Minnesota. It was formed in the late 1850's. There was a second Norwegian Lutheran Church in the area, the Gol Lutheran Church which one of my other g-grandparents (Erik and Astrid Gunhus) went to.
