Around 1760 one of my 6th Great Grandfathers, Thomas Carson, came by ship from Ulster, Ireland to the United States. According to sources the name of the ship was the Gale. The picture is of a painting of the ship Gale arriving in Halifax, Nova Scotia in 1852. I am assuming that this is the same ship that Thomas Carson emigrated on. ¶ 9:04 AM
