I have two 6th great grandfathers who fought in the Revolutionary War. Thomas Carson from Washington County, Pennsylvania and Basil Burgess from Queen Anne's County in Maryland. Thomas was an emigrant from Scotland and was a private. Basil came from a well established family and was an officer. The picture shows what Basil's pension would have been for his role in the War. ¶ 9:01 AM
