The picture is of my g-grandfather's (Nub Fredrickson) sister Gjertrud Olson and her husband. She emigrated to the United States from Norway in 1876 with her father. They settled near Gordonsville, Minnesota in the County of Freeborn. In 1879 she married Halvor Olson Underbakke. Eventually they moved to Cavalier County, North Dakota with another sister and her family and her father Fredrick Ellingson (and possibly her mother). In 1908 Gjerturd, Halvor, and family moved to Kuroki, Saskatchewan, Canada where she died in 1939.  ¶ 8:04 AM
