It appears that my g-grandfather Sjur and his brother Lars had a younger sister that came to Goodhue County from Norway also. Ingeborg was born in 1830 and most likely she made the voyage in 1858. In 1859 she married Elling Olsen in the town of Holden. In the 1865 census Lars was staying with them. This is the period of time when he had got quite sick and his leprosy began to appear (see September 21st entry). Being family Ingeborg took care of him. The map shows where they lived in Wanamingo Township, Goodhue County. The blue square is the Elling Olsen farm.  ¶ 8:34 AM
