Of interest to me is the age differences of my g-grandfathers (g-grandmothers also). On my father's side one g-grandfather was born in 1827 and the other in 1828. On my mother's side my g-grandfathers were born in 1848 and 1874. This is a difference of 47 years from the oldest to the youngest g-grandfather. For the g-grandmother's it would be similiar. The picture shows info from the 1870 census for my g-grandfather, Erick Gunhus, who was born in 1828. He had by this time traveled from Norway, homesteaded in Minnesota, been married twice (one wife died in 1860) and had seven children. It is a similiar situation for my other g-grandfather on my father's side. Yet on my mother's side one g-grandfather had yet to be born (1874) and the other was still living in Norway and wouldn't marry until 1876.
