The plat map shows where my gg-grandfather Fredrick Ellingson homesteaded with his son-in-law in Montrose Twp. Cavalier County, North Dakota. His homestead/farm was in the E1/2 of the SE quarter of section 25. On this 1912 plat map his son-in-law, H.O. Mellem, is living on Fredrick's claim. Next to him are the farms of two of Fredrick's grandsons. Fredrick died sometime between 1900 and 1910.  ¶ 1:26 PM
