I just discovered that my gg-grandfather Lorenzo Dow Weinhart was married three times not the two times I thought. Besides marrying Florence Archer in 1880 and Matilda Gordon in 1890, he married Emma McColm (maiden name Cox) in 1936. She lived with him in Huntington Park, California and died in 1949. This is an example of where I should I have listened more carefully to my relatives. Both my mother and another relative who grew up in the town where Lorenzo lived for much of his adult life both thought that Lorenzo had been married three times but nowhere in all the material I had gathered about Lorenzo was a third marriage ever mentioned so I assumed they were just misinformed.
